With today being Veterans Day, let us all take a moment of our day to pay tribute to the men and women that have put their lives on the line to protect us and serve our country. In Student Government, this day is a day of remembrance and humility while reflecting on the many friends and family members that have served in the military and have came back to WVU to continue their education. One man in particular that has touched many of our lives. George Minwer served overseas, and returned home with a desire to continue to make a difference by getting involved in SGA. George passed away a few years ago but we all will never forget what a great person he was and how much he meant to student government, West Virginia University and our country. If you know any veterans here at school or overseas, make it a point to tell them thank you today.
