Board of Governors

Taylor Richmond is a Sophomore Political Science major seeking a minor in Leadership Studies. He is from Beckley, West Virginia and is currently an RA in Braxton Tower where he serves on the RA Council. He is currently the youngest member on the Student Government Association Board of Governors and has spent his term as a student voice on school and city committees regarding mass transit issues around Morgantown. He has pushed for the placement of informative screens to be placed around campus updating students on bus delays and minutely status updates of the PRT. He has also tackled changing the opposite sex overnight visitation policy in WVU dorms.

If re-elected Taylor plans to continue working on transportation concerns, such as implementing booting over towing and making transportation in Morgantown easier for students. He also plans to continue pushing for improvements in residence halls and to be a liaison between RA’s and the Student Government Association.
