Jason Zuccari is a junior Multidisciplinary Studies major from McLean, Virginia. Jason is a current member of the SGA Board of Governors and served a year as SGA’s Coordinator of the Sophomore-Junior Experience program. As a student at WVU, Jason has been a brother of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, the University Veterans Task Force, and was the founder of the group Advocates for Students with Disabilities.

Jason has served as the student chair for WVU’s United Way campaign where he led the way to raise over $12,000 for local charities. Jason was appointed to the SGA-City Council Task Force on Taxi Service and has addressed issues relating to students with disabilities including development of the Mountaineer Academic Program. Jason has also served as SGA’s liaison to the Center for Civic Engagement where he has helped develop programs for students to be actively engaged in the community.

If elected student body president, Jason will work diligently to meet his platform goals and be a voice for students on all issues. He will be energetic and accessible, will continue the Speak Up program to reach out across campus, and will make sure SGA continues to be a voice for all students.
