-Vice President Napier called the meeting to order.

President Parsons
-There are two months left in the Parsons-Napier administration. They plan on addressing many issues in the coming months.
-Met with Kathy Yura and Ken Gray to discuss student wellness.
-There are three Speak Up forums left.
-Will be meeting about the Coliseum Bridge Project on Friday.
-Looking for people to serve on the Rising College Costs committee.
Vice President Napier
– Met with Kathy Yura and Ken Gray to discuss student wellness.
-Student Health is now under Student Affairs. This includes the Carruth Center.
-Spoke with Courtney Jennings about traditions.
-Attended the Presidential Inauguration along with Vice Chair Rogers.
Attorney General Gutta
-There is a Constitutional Review Committee meeting on Friday.
Chief of Staff McIntosh
-Has been appointed by President Parsons to work on Random Acts of Kindness Week. This will be held February 9-13th.
-Talked to Brett White about nominating a person to honor during Random Acts of Kindness Week.
Director of Communications Peters
-Congratulated President Parsons on being appointed to the West Virginia Workforce Investment Board.
-Next week, we will continue the Student Voices Across Campus forums. The first one will be January 26th at 6pm.
-The PR will be meeting tomorrow night at 9pm.
Director of Greek Affairs Curry
-Fraternity rush week will be February 2-6.
Executive Secretary Poling
-Attended the Social Justice Council Meeting.
-The new childcare facility will open in August. There will be space for 184 children.
Elections Chair Dobson
-Election packets will be available January 26th. They will be due February 6th.
Maniac Director Bailey
-There are a few seats left for the Georgetown Trip.

-Student Connections has been discussing what they will be doing in the coming months.

A. Partnership for Safety—One Year Progress Report: WVU Police Chief Bob Roberts
-The WVU alert will be tested again this Spring.
-Applying for a $600,000 grant to be used for cadet funding, camera installation, and overtime for employees.
B. Bureau of Finance Grant Proposal: Treasurer Greenberg
-Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity: Cover registration fees to attend Grand Chapter Meeting in Washington, D.C. Asking for $250.
-WVU Women’s Rugby Football Club: Assist with traveling expenses to attend the Women’s Mardi Gras Tournament in New Orleans, LA on February 20. Asking for $500. Time sensitive: grant passed.

-The Pre-Health Advising website should be up and running shortly.

-Spoke at the Traffic Commission meeting before break. He spoke about improvements for pedestrian safety.
-Has contacted a few people about club sports using the city fields and the new women’s soccer field.
-If anyone wants to run for BOG, you don’t have to run on a ticket. You can run as an independent.
Governor Perry
-Has copies of the Speak Up report.
-Student Connections has not experienced meeting with administrators. They will start meeting with them in the near future.
-Met with Rhonda Hall and Robin Jones about University 101. They have been using the new book for almost a year, and they are looking for ideas about revisions.
Governor Ramsey
-Will be attending the Clinton Global Initiative.
Governor Richmond
-Has been meeting about implementing a survey to address the overnight visitation policy in the residence halls. This should be launched next month.
-After the survey, the RA council report will be drafted.
Governor Rogers
-The TKE house has been demolished.
-If anyone is interested in seeing how the Code Enforcement works, you can attend a ride-along.
-The Week of Engagement will be April 13-19. SGA’s involvement will be expanded.
-The Off-Campus Housing Fair was last week. It was a great success.
-Attended the Sunnyside Up and Housing Advisory Board meetings.
-March 7th and 8th will be Dance Marathon. SGA will be putting together a team.
Governor Seitz
-Last Monday was a 2010 plan meeting. IT issues were addresses.
-Has e-mailed Mike Ellington about WVUp All Night. Some ideas were involving local businesses, having more competitions, and taking advantage of services at the Rec Center.
Governor Thomaselli
-This year, we will be trying to get an online component for PhotoVoice. Students will be able to upload photos to this website and describe the safety concerns.

-The Office of Student Employment held an employment fair today. Please see Susan Lance if you need an on-campus job.
-The Random Acts of Kindness sign-up sheet will be posted in the SGA office.
-Mountaineer mascot applications are currently available.
-The Student Wellness Board is accepting applications.
-The Transfer Student Meet-and-Greet will be tomorrow 3-5pm in the Mountaineer Room.
-Attendance has been excellent this year.
