President Parsons
-We are continuing our work in the state legislature. We are pushing for more funding for WVU.
– Attended the State of the State Address last week with VP Napier.
-SOS is launching a program to take students to the WVU Day at the state legislature on March 25.
-Will be attending the city council meeting next week with Governor Zuccari. They will be addressing the taxi issue.

Vice President Napier
-Attended the State of the State Address last week.
-If you get on the state legislature’s website, you can research who your delegates are and what they do.
-Met with Courtney Jennings about traditions.
-Has been appointed to the Student Health and Wellness Task Force. They will be fighting for a new student health facility.

Attorney General Gutta
-No report.

-Monday was the last Speak Up event. There is another one in the plans for RAs.
-April 18th is the Student Leadership Symposium.
-April 21-23 is Stress Busters Week.

-Attended the City Council meeting last week and spoke about pedestrian safety.
-Attended the Faculty Senate Welfare Committee. The smoking ban was discussed.

-Was asked to serve as the student representative on a task force about University 101.

-The overnight visitation survey will be closing this week. So far, there are over 1500 responses.
-Will be meeting with administrators to discuss this survey.

Governor Rogers
-The Office of Off-Campus Housing is currently conducting a survey.
-This month is Recycling Month.

-Has been working with the Veteran’s Task Force.

-The SOS Speak Up forum will be rescheduled.
-A student asked about the smoking ban. The current smoking policy hasn’t been updated since 1990. We are meeting with many different parts of the University to discuss options.

-The SGA Debate is this Monday at 8pm.
