-There is a new bill proposed at the state legislature. If you have 2 or more underage alcohol citations, you could lose state-funded scholarships.

-Inauguration will be April 19th 2-5pm at the Waterfront Place Hotel.

A. Bureau of Finance Appropriation Proposal 2009-04: Treasurer Greenberg
-WVU American Medical Association: Help sponsor the annual “Run for Cover 5k,” a charity race for the Bartlett House, on March 28. Requesting $500. Passed.
-Council of Writers: To pay the honorarium of writer and poet Michael Blumenthal, who will be speaking on April 6-9 at WVU. Requesting $500. Passed.
-Zeta Phi Beta Sorority: Cover rental fee of the Morgantown Elks Lodge for their “Blue Carpet Cabaret” on April 24. Requesting $500. Passed.
-Mountain Honorary: Cover expenses related to printing and mailing yearly newsletter. Requesting $500. Passed.
-Tau Beta Pi: Help purchase bike helmets to donate in conjunction with their yearly Bike Drive on April 20. Requesting $500. Passed.

-WVU Dance Marathon: Help cover the cost of food for participants in the marathon, so that all money raised at the event can go directly to the WVU Children’s Hospital. Requesting $500. Time sensitive: grant passed.
-Alpha Phi Omega: Help cover costs to pay for a “Make and Take” exhibit at the 2009 Kid’s Science Carnival on April 4. Requesting $500.
-Horticulture Club: Help cover lodging fees and van rental to an annual national landscaping competition in Pomona, California from March 24-30. Requesting $500.
-Geography Graduate Group: Help provide lodging expenses to attend the Association of American Geographer’s national conference in Las Vegas from March 22-27. Requesting $500. No representative present.

-Attended the first of two strategic planning meetings for the downtown area.
-Tomorrow night at 6:30 is the second session followed by a public forum.
-Has a meeting with Jen Fischer and Narvel Weese about the future of off-campus housing.
-Will be presenting on behalf of the Constitutional Review Committee next week.
-Tomorrow is the last day to register for Dance Marathon.

-Monday was another 2010 plan implementation team meeting. They had a presentation from the advising center.
-They recommended taking advantage of Advisor Track and the walk-in policy for the first three weeks of every semester.

-Danielle Boyd introduced herself. She congratulated the current SGA administration for a very successful year and wished the best of luck to those not returning. She offered her advice to all candidates currently running.

-Governor McCulloch has taken a step back from the campaign trail. He thinks that the current elections code needs to be looked at.

-President Parsons urged everyone to keep this election as fair as possible.
