– John Gaddis (2nd Ward), Ron Bane (1st Ward), Jenney Selin (4th Ward), Mike Shuman (5th Ward), Shane Martis (6th Ward), Marti Shamberger (5th Ward), George Papandreas (1st Ward), Charlie Byrer (3rd Ward)
– Candidates encouraged students to vote and get involved with city council. The election is April 28th and with 27,000 student votes, students can make a difference.
– Former governor Rodgers spoke on behalf of candidate Bill Byrne and stressed his importance to the Sunnyside Up Project as a founder.

There is currently a need for replacement members on the Parking and Transportation Committee
