-Vice President Napier called the meeting to order.

IV.Executive Reports
President Parsons
-The roundtable discussions have been going very well.
-Attended the WV Leadership Conference with VP Napier.
-Robby Queen has been working on the Students for Higher Education initiative.
-One idea from the roundtable discussions is to expand the partnership for safety citywide.
-Has been working with Jim Hunt and Governor Rogers on SunnysideUp.
-There has been a statement released on the Heather Bresch controversy.
-It is time to move on as a university and as an institution.
Vice President Napier
-Has the finalized list for the Student Conduct Board appointments.
-Recognized Governors Zuccari, Richmond, and Seitz for attending all of the Student Voices Across Campus forums.
-Has put the Governors into platform groups. There will be group meetings over the summer.
-Had a meeting with Susan Lance about student employment.
Director of Communications Peters
-This week is the Center for Civic Engagement Week of Engagement.
-Needs people to sign up for the Day of Engagement on Friday.
-SGA will be playing volleyball at 2pm on the green.
-On Monday April 28th, SGA will have a joint meeting with the Sports Club Federation.
-Asked former Communications Director McLean to comment on Stress Busters Week

—Finished the Clipbook and will pass it on to the next PR Team Historian.

-Please come to the last forum. This will be for the Sports Club Federation on Monday April 28th at 7pm in the Blue Ballroom of the Mountainlair.
Off-Campus Housing Director Fink
-Met with representative from the WVU Parents Club.
-In the fall, there will be a forum for parents about off-campus housing.
-The off-campus housing weekend will be held during the spring parents’ weekend.

-Absent.
Student Connections Liaison Durst
-Absent.
Director of Greek Affairs Modansky
-Introduced the new IFC President: Patrick Curry
**VP Napier introduced Lindsey Helfer. She has been working on new logos for SGA.

A. Student Connections Resolution 2008-07: Governor Perry
-Vote by role call: Passed.
B. Bureau of Finance Appropriation Proposal 2008-08: Treasurer Greenberg
– Tae Kwon Do: Assist in covering costs of the WVU TKD Association’s Martial Arts Tournament on April 20th at Mylan Park’s Pro Performance Center.
-Governor Rogers moved to take this grant off the agenda. Vote by a show of hands. Passed.
VII.New Business
A. Substance Abuse Education: Missy Pforr, Student Health Services.
-Has been working very hard on promoting Substance Abuse Awareness.
-Teaches a Substance Abuse Education for Student Leaders class. Encourages everyone to take this class.
-Sets up a booth at the Mountainlair and Rec Center during Welcome Week.

-Working to find out information about Pre-Professional programs.
Governor Mathias

Governor McCulloch
-Elected as Vice President of Recruitment of the Interfraternity Council
Governor Miller

Governor Pearson
-Met with Campus Planner and Transportation Director.
-Working on the promotion of bicycles around campus.
-Working on Pedestrian Safety around Morgantown.
-Took a walk with Jim Hunt on Earth Day.
-Walking and biking is becoming more popular due to the User Fee failing to pass.
Governor Perry
-Met with Robin Hall and Rhonda Jones from the First Year Experience.
-Student Connections came up with a list of things that they feel should be included in Welcome Week.
-Has the Freshmen Orientation schedule ready.
Governor Ramsey
-No report.
Governor Richmond
-Met with Mass Transit Committee.
-Came up with a final plan to give to city and county officials about mass transit.
-If you would like to see a timeline of the different plans, please let him know.
Governor Rogers
-Commented on the Student Voices Across Campus forum on Off-Campus housing.
-Feels that educating freshmen from the very beginning is important.
-The University needs to play a bigger role in students finding off-campus housing.
-Thanked the Governors and Executives who attended the Code Enforcement ride-alongs this week.
-Next Tuesday, April 29th at 7pm, the city will be holding a meeting about student issues.
Governor Seitz
-No report.
Governor Thomaselli
-Absent: report given by VP Napier.
-Met with Jennifer Fisher and the President’s office about Photovoice.
-There will be a website for Photovoice.
Governor Wyatt
-Met with VP of Finance for WVU.
-For the student debit cards, there will be a 2 card system.
-Currently, when you get your tuition returns back, you won’t receive it for 2-3 weeks.
-With this card, you will get your return immediately.
Governor Zuccari
-No report.
IX.Athletic Council Reports
Athletic Councilman Donato
-No report.
Athletic Councilwoman Werner
-The Athletic Council just had their last meeting of the school year.
-Approved some of the public service announcements for football season.
-Voted on Student Athlete awards.
-This Saturday at 11am, there will be a behind-the-scenes tour of the Men’s and Women’s basketball practices.
-Met with Jennifer Fisher about increasing money for Olympic Sports.
-Attend the WVU Student Athlete Academic Banquet.
X.Advisors’ Reports
XI.Open Student Forum II
-Elections chair Golomb asked how the debit card is different from Mountie Bounty.
-There are many different technologies used with the current Mountaineer Card.
-As of now, the current debit program will remain in use.
-Governor Ramsey asked if Mountie Bounty expires at the end of each year.
-Mountie Bounty does not expire. However, Meals Plus does.

-WVU Hillel is currently having a Holocaust Memorial Program in front of the Mountainlair. Pleas attend if you can.
-Governor France thanked Governor Rogers for attending the Code Enforcement Ride-Along with her.
-Recognized Adam Judy and Lindsey Helfer for all of their hard work in SGA.
-Sarah McLean announced the prizes for the Stress Busters Week raffle: flat screen TV, two digital cameras, iPod touch, free hotel stay at Hotel Morgan.
-VP Napier recognized Governor Ramsey for all of his hard work on Career Services.
