-Vice President Napier called the meeting to order.

President Parsons
-Our last roundtable discussion of the year took place with the Club Sports Federation.
-Commented on the Heather Bresch situation. President Parsons and Vice President Napier each gave a statement on the issue.
-His vote was to charge President Garrison to take responsibility.
-The true power and meaning of our University lies within the students.
-Please attend the DA’s forum tomorrow evening.
-Has made himself available to the staff of the DA to talk about the situation.
-Bill Clinton is coming to campus tomorrow. He will be speaking at Woodburn Circle at 8:30am.
-Hopes that all the presidential campaigns will come to WVU.
Vice President Napier
-Met with Dave Taylor at the Rec Center to discuss funding.
-Students: your feedback is important. Please speak up.
-They do not want to charge for classes at the Rec.
-Please attend the DA forum tomorrow. Do not be afraid to speak up.
-We must communicate as a community.

-Welcomed the new members of the PR team.
-The PR team retreat was Sunday.
-Had a meeting with the Parent’s Club.

-We are ordering SGA t-shirts again.

-The Mountaineer Maniacs are still looking for a new director.
-There will be 2 more days of sign-ups.

-Connor Sorrels spoke about the Heather Bresch controversy. He called for the resignation of President Garrison.

A. Committee on Students’ Rights and Responsibilities Appointments: President Parsons
Undergraduate: Frank Annie, Alex Lastinger, Laura Harper, Matthew Boczanowski, Jamie Harrison, Matt Gutta, Jacqueline Gannon, Erin Graziani, Tommy Napier, Quinton Wall
Graduate: Shane Miller, Thilanka Munasinghe, Caroline Clark
-All were approved by the Board of Governors.
B. Presentation on Club Sports: Jon Niles, Men’s Club Rugby Coach
-Many of our peer institutions have numerous fields used not only for recreational purposes, but also for classes.
-Calls for redevelopment of WVU’s field space.
-The current design of the fields does not meet the needs of the club sports.
-The use of field turf maximizes use year-round and minimizes the mud issue.
-22 club sports get $42,000 to share. The hockey team gets $10,000.
C. WVU Bookstore Update: David Lang
-Thanked the Board of Governors for working with the bookstore this year.
-They currently have 70% of their textbook adoptions in.
-Renovations on the bookstore will be starting in the next week.
-The renovation of the downstairs will take place over the summer.
-The renovation of the upstairs will start once students return. They will be putting in a Starbuck’s Café.
-Students can now order textbooks when they register for classes.
-Looks forward to working with SGA in the future.
D. Presentation on Community Concerns: Bill Rice
-Running for County Commissioner for Monongalia County.
-The jobs in Mon County that used to be underground in the mining industry are now in buildings throughout Morgantown.
-Believes that WVU students bring more cars than the city is prepared to tolerate.

-Conducted research on pre-professional programs at other schools.
Governor Mathias
-Met with the new IFC president, Patrick Curry.
-Would like to see two community service events that encompass the whole Greek community.

-Finished the Wellness Initiative with Governor Pearson and VP Napier.
Governor Mitchell
-Met with Susan Lance, the Director of Student Employment Center about a website for student jobs.
Governor Pearson
-Thanked the Club Sports Federation for coming to tonight’s meeting.
-Encourages everyone to speak up on current issues.
Governor Perry
-Has the schedule for Freshmen Orientation volunteers.
-Has been communicating with Brian Walker. He is in charge of commuter students.
Governor Ramsey
-Submitted his final vote for the Associate Director of Career Services.
-The childcare open house was yesterday.
Governor Richmond
-No report.
Governor Rogers
-Attended a City Council meeting to talk about code enforcement issues. The Five-Point plan was presented.
-Will be attending the RHI Leadership Summit on May 6th. This concerns the development of downtown Morgantown.
-Thanked the board and the other members of SGA for all their hard work.
Governor Seitz
-Spoke with his professor about campus safety issues. The Sociology Department has conducted two surveys about this issue.

-Will be meeting with Dan Durman about getting a bank for the debit card program.
