President Parsons
-There has been a lot of feedback on the SGA blog about Club Sports Funding.
-Attended a Student Health meeting with Governor Miller and President McGrath.
-There are two bills going through the legislature right now: one about landlords and one about towing practices.
-Engage ‘08 has begun. http://engage08.wvu.edu will be launched tonight.
-The current Student Government administration has gotten many things accomplished.

Vice President Napier
-Has been trying to meet with all the Governors.
-Has been working with the Wellness Initiative.
-The International Student Mentoring Program is going very well. They attended the Pirates’ game last week.

Attorney General Gutta
-No report.

Chief of Staff McIntosh
-Absent.

Chief of Staff Queen
-Absent.

Director of Communications Peters
-Thanked everyone who attended the Oliverio’s Social last night.
-Met with University Advancement and Marketing regarding the Mountaineer Creed. Will continue to work with them to find various ways to promote it.
-Met will Lindsey Helfer and the WVU Design Services to rework the logo for SGA to create a more prominent and everlasting image.
-Will continue to work with Outreach Director Yachini finalizing plans for Engage ‘08 and with President Parsons on the 2009 Student Leadership Symposium.

Director of Greek Affairs Curry
-Around 300 students pledged fraternities.

Executive Secretary Poling
-Has been working with Vice Chair Rogers on the Presidential Search Committee.

Elections Chair Dobson
-Absent.

-Has been working with the Caritas House – an organization that works with HIV/AIDS patients. They are planning a canned food drive.

West Virginia Vietnam Issue: Asking for money to put on fundraising events. Asking for $500. Time sensitive: grant passed.
Marketing Club: Needs funds to go to Bayer and an advertising company. Asking for $500. Grant passed.

-Apologized for her absences.
-Has been trying to meet with administrators.
-Is creating a survey about the Pre-Med website.

-Thanked Governors Perry, Richmond, and Seitz for running in the 5k on Saturday.
-Has been asked to sit on a Wellness Implementation Team.

-There is going to be University 101 and commuters focus groups.
-Working on a lasting SGA mission statement.

Governor Ramsey
-Working on setting up a meeting with the DA staff and the Career Services Center.

Governor Richmond
-Met with the Director of Transportation on Friday. WeGO week was a great success.
-The groundbreaking ceremony for the new transportation facility will be next Thursday at 11AM.

Governor Rogers
-The selection process for the Presidential Search Committee is almost complete. They will be voted on next week.

Governor Seitz
-Met about discuss improvements to the football stadium. Those ideas will be submitted to the athletic department.

Governor Thomaselli
-The Morgantown Boys & Girls Club does a canned food drive every Halloween. There will be boxes in the SGA office.

Governor Wyatt
-No report.

Governor Zuccari
-Met with the Veteran’s Committee—a group who supports veterans of war.
-In honor of George Minwer, SGA will participate in Letters to War.

-The first Athletic Council Meeting is this Friday.

-Governor Rogers read a letter about the obligations of SGA members.

XII.Announcements
-Sheila Powell has been working on the One-Stop Shop for graduates.
-Governor France may need some volunteers for the Alcohol Advisory Board.
-Governor Mathias, Outreach Director Judy, and Chief-of-Staff McIntosh are on the homecoming court.
-The University is desperately looking for volunteers for the 2010 implementation team.
-Governor Seitz placed 5th in the 5k run/walk.
