Colleen Harshbarger from the WVU Student Recreation Center spoke about the Rec. Center. She talked about the definition of Wellness, Wellness in WV, and about the creation of the Student Wellness Advisory Board. Anyone interested in being on the board can contact her. Also, she passed out the American College Health Association National College Health Assessment.

Grant proposals for Chimes and WVU Equestrian Club both passed.
West Virginia Economic Policy will present next week.

Resolution 2007-06 National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week: Governor France& Vice Chair Cutlip
Governor France read the resolution.
Board voted, resolution passed.

New Business

) Bureau of Finance Appropriation Proposal 2007-09: Treasurer Jackson
Delta Sigma Delta- requesting $500 to help fund their initiation dinner for new members. The event will take place at the Pines Country Club. No representative present.
Delta Sigma Pi- Requesting $500 to help with travel expenses to their LEAD Conference in Chicago. 24 members will be attending. Time Sensitive- Board voted and allocation passed.
Plant and Soil Sciences Team-Requesting $500 to help with travel expenses to the Southeast Regional Soils Contest in Richmond, KY Oct. 15-19. Time Sensitive Board voted and allocation passed.

Resolution 2007-07 Wellness Resolution : Governor Peters and Governor Dollars
Governor Margolin read the resolution.
Will be voted on next week.

Talked about the blog on the new SGA website and encouraged everyone to add their comments.
The next Off Campus Housing Meeting will be Oct. 15th @ 7:30.
Attended Sunnyside Up meeting this morning.
Needs volunteers for a Sunnyside Up Vision Committee.

Taylor Richmond will serve on a Mountain Line steering committee.
Talked about personal parking meters. Would like to know everyone?s opinion on the meters.
Park & Ride will open soon in Westover.
Granville Park & Ride is a possibility.
Anyone interested in Park & Ride focus group contact Governor Stonebraker.

Ian McCulloch would like to congratulate all the SGA guys running for Homecoming King.
Governor Davis needs a volunteer to wear a chicken costume for the Mountaineer Week Chicken Dance Dance Off; she also needs judges for the Pizza Toss and Dance-Off.
Brittany Miller would like to remind everyone to mark their calendars for LSSA clean-up day Nov. 4th.
Treasurer Jackson ? anyone interested in Mountaineer Week Challenge needs to see him.
Governor Peters- Mountaineer Week Beard Shaving is Wednesday the 18th @ noon.
