-Acknowledged Kappa Sigma fraternity for their presence at tonight’s meeting.
-Acknowledged members of club sports for their presence at tonight’s meeting.
-Tonight, there is a watch party for the debate.
-Judy Woodruff will be giving a speech tomorrow at 7:30pm in Ming Heish Hall.
-Met with Dr. David Stewart to discuss an International Awareness Program.
-Gave a speech at President McGrath’s State of the Campus address.
-Encouraged all students to continue to speak up.
Vice President Napier
-Welcomed everyone to the meeting.
-Reiterated the importance of the International Awareness Program.
-Met with Governor Perry to research other University’s student unions.

B. Bureau of Finance Grant Proposal 2008-13: Treasurer Greenberg
-WVU Men’s Volleyball Team: Cover expenses for 2009 National Volleyball Tournament in Kansas City, Missouri. Asking for $500. Grant passed.
-Next Generation West Virginia: Host charity tailgate for Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center on November 8th. Asking for $500. Grant passed.
-Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity: Cover ticketing, advertising, DJ, and trophy expenses for homecoming event in Mountainlair Ballroom on October 11th. Asking for $500. Grant passed.
-Students for Global Health: Cover packaging expenses related to sending Global Health literature overseas. Asking for $500. Grant passed.
-Delta Sigma Delta: Offset costs for New Member Inductions in Mountainlair Ballroom on November 5th. Asking for $500. Grant passed.

A. Bureau of Finance Grant Proposal 2008-14: Treasurer Greenberg
-Arnold Air Society: Cover transportation costs to send proposed staff to Philadelphia for Area Conclave from November 21 to 23. Asking for $500. Time sensitive: grant passed.
-Indian Students Association: Assist in funding events during Diversity Week. Asking for $500. Time sensitive: grant passed.
-Public Relations Student Society of America: Requesting funds to assist with transportation to a conference in Detroit. Asking for $500. Time sensitive: grant passed.
B. Club Sports Resolution 2008-11: President Parsons, et al.
-President Parsons read various comments from the SGA blog on club sports.
-Governor McCulloch commended all members of club sports that are present at tonight’s meeting. He also encouraged everyone to continue to speak up.
-Governor Pearson thanked everyone for coming tonight. He recognized the importance of club sports and speaking up on these issues.
-A member of the WVU Cycling Team read an essay about the importance of club sports in his life.
-Men’s Club Rugby Coach Jon Niles gave a presentation on club sports. He focused on increasing and improving field space and funding.
-Several students spoke up about what participating in club sports means to them.

-Passed around a sign-up sheet for Make a Difference Day.
-Has started planning Makeover Morgantown.
-Dance Marathon will be in the Spring semester.

-Has started coming up with ideas to improve WVUp All Night.
Governor Thomaselli
-Met with members of the President’s office and Facilities Management about the PhotoVoice project.
-On October 29th, the canned food box will be collected from the SGA office.

-Apologized for being late.
-Has been selling Gold Rush t-shirts.
-Thanked Governor Perry and Student Connections for running the bake sale this week.
