University of Pittsburgh?s SGA President will be here next week.
The next Institutional Board of Governors meeting will be Friday Nov. 2nd at the Erickson Center.
Taylor Richmond gave report from the Faculty Senate Committee.
Discussed the possibility of a new grading scale.
Attended a Staff Council Meeting last week.
Will be attending the State Advisory Committee on Nov. 1st.
The Transportation and Parking Commission will be meeting soon.
Ron Cheng attended the Parking Commission meeting and reported on the issues of GPS devices in the Mountain Line and Prepaid parking meters.
Matt Gutta reported that $2million dollars of federal funding was received for PRT repairs each year. Talked about possibility of a new parking lot being constructed. Compiling a list of top 5 traffic concerns.

Invited everyone to join the FAB Facebook Group.
Open Student Forum 1
University 101 Presentations: Students had concerns about the PRT. They wanted to know how the system works, why cars don?t open at the gates, and what can be done to fix the PRT. The group would also like to get a space in the DA to publish statistics of the PRT.
Another University 101 class addressed the visitation policies that are used in the residence halls. The group researched policies of other similar institutions. They feel that students should be able to sign in guests regardless of sex.

WVU Swing Dance Club- Requesting funds to help with Halloween Party October 26th. Time Sensitive- grant passed by call in vote.

XI. Open Student Forum II
Off Campus Housing Director Fink stated that it was ridiculous that so many Governors were absent and it was unfair to students that were in attendance to request time sensitive grants.
Governor Rogers- The absence of governors isn?t fair to the governors in attendance.
President Kirkpatrick- University of Pittsburgh impeached a governor recently and he sat in on the interviewing of candidates for a new governor.
