Stephanie Ballard-Conrad talked about the information enclosed in the invitations to the Inauguration. She also went over the schedule of events for the Inauguration on Oct. 19.

Report given by executive secretary Ian McCulloch.
President Kirkpatrick apologized for his absence but was stuck on I-79 till early this morning.
Last Friday, attended a conference call for the State Advisory Committee.
Attended a University of Pittsburgh SGA meeting last night to talk about our organization. Members of University of Pittsburgh?s SGA will be coming to one of our meetings in the near future.

VP Parsons
Talked about the handout that was distributed at tonight?s meeting.
The new SGA website will feature a Vice-President Blog.
President Garrison announced a new child care plan for WVU. A new Child Care Center will be constructed.
Attended a meeting at the Waterfront on the new Student Health Center.
Wallpaper was added to the columns in the Lair.

1st meeting with the Off Campus Housing Committee was held Monday evening.
At the meeting on Monday, the members talked about projects they would like to work on.
The next Off Campus Housing Committee meeting will be held on Oct. 15, location TBA.

Vice-President Parsons talked to the group tonight about the responsibilities of being a Governor.

Bureau of Finance Appropriation Proposal 2007-07: Treasure Jackson
WVU Chess Club ? requesting funds to assist in purchasing chess boards, clocks, prizes, and snacks for their events. Allocation passed
WVU Snowboarding Club- requesting funds to assist in the cost of a trip to McHenry Maryland. 15-20 people will be attending the event that will cost a total $1350. Allocation passed

West Virginia University Students in Support of Bob Huggins ? Men?s Basketball Seating Proposal: Michael Taylor.
Michael Taylor was unable to attend the meeting but did have a printed statement on the agendas.
Governor Davis read a statement on behalf of herself, Governor Rogers, and Governor France. This statement included the reasoning of granting tickets to the Mountaineer Maniacs and why the request by Students in Support of Bob Huggins is a different situation.
The Board voted to not to grant the tickets to the Students in Support of Bob Huggins.

New Business
Bureau of Finance Appropriation Proposal 2007-08: Treasure Jackson
WVU Equestrian Club-requesting funds to assist in their trop to Allegheny College for a meet on Nov. 4th. 50 people will be attending the event.
No representative was present so the proposal was moved to next week.
Chimes- requesting funds to assist with Relay for Life in March/April.
Macy Miller Chimes President spoke on behalf of the group.
Vote will take place next week.

Public Relations Student Society of America- requested funds to attend the PRSSA National Conference in Philadelphia, PA. 21 students will be attending the Conference.
Sarah McLean spoke on behalf of PRSSA.
This was a time sensitive issue so the rules were suspended and the proposal was voted on. Allocation Passed.

WVU 4-H Club- requested funds to help fund their annual Host Weekend.
This was a time sensitive issue so rules were suspended and the proposal was voted on. Allocation Passed.

West Virginia Economic Policy ? Requesting funds to assist with a trip to Clendenin, WV to gather economic and political information. Five Students will be attending the trip.
Proposal will be voted on next week.

Resolution 2007-06- National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week: Governor France & Governor Cutlip
Governor France read the resolution.
Voting will take place next week.

Elections Chair Bailey
Has been meeting with administrators in regards to the contract renewal with Vote Net, the system WVU uses for on-line voting.

Meeting at the Rec. Center with Colleen Harshberger and Vice-President Parsons tonight following the SGA meeting.

Working with Freshman Advisory Board and the 1st Year Experience.

Governor Peters
Attended the Freshman Advisory Board Meeting tonight.
Working on a Trick-or-Treat Project.
Sending a care package to former SGA member Sarah Lovell who is now a student at Cambridge University. If anyone wants to add something to the package feel free to do so.

Governor Rogers
Met with Vice-President Parsons and Morgantown Administrators on inspection stickers for housing.
The next Sunnyside Up meeting is October 10th at 7:30 am.
Verizon cut down the shoes on the power lines in Sunnyside last week.
Working with the Assistant City Manager on a transportation grant.
Sunnyside Up is offering a Dollar for Dollar match on improvements to rental housing exteriors.
$1,000 reward for information on the Graffiti Artist in Sunnyside.

Governor Saunders
Met with Mike Ellington on the possibility of installing a computer lab in the Lair.
Governor Stonebraker
October 9th will be the meeting with SGA, WVU Parking, PRT, Mountain Line, and the City of Morgantown in regards to transportation.
Will have report of the meeting next week.

Governor Thomaselli
Met with Outreach Director Songer and Brittany Miller last week over food and beverages for the SGA Tailgate. The cost will be about $3 per person.

Outreach Director Songer raised a question about the smell of Quiznos.
Elections Chair Bailey responded to Outreach Director Songer?s question by saying that a duct system similar to that in the restrooms is going to be installed.
