? Needs a governor to take imitative on the lighting in the area surrounding the CAC.
? A scrolling marquee will be added to the Lair.
? Met with Tim Bolling of the WVU Foundation to discuss the SGA endowment fund and using the interest to fund SGA Operations.

VP Parsons
? Attended Lunch with Governors Perry & Rogers and the Freshman Advisory Group.
? Recognized freshman in attendance.
? Working with Governor Rogers and Brittany Fink on off campus housing inspections.
? A walking tour of Sunny Side will take place tomorrow @ 9:30.

? Justin Wood was introduced as interim Attorney General.

VI. Old Business
A.) Resolution 2007-004: Mountaineer Maniacs Basketball Seating- Governor Peters, Athletic Councilwoman Werner.

? Governor Stonebraker motioned to reconsider the Maniac Resolution that was debated last week.
? Governor Davis seconded the motion.
? Governor Peters yielded the floor to Athletic Councilwoman Werner.
? Werner thanked everyone for their concern on resolution 2007-004, she then read the resolution.
? Governor Davis moved to amend resolution 2007-004.
? Governor Stonebraker seconded the motion.
? Governor France feels confidante in the Maniacs ability to disperse the seats.
? Governor Saunders stated that the seating will be a trial run.
? Governor Golomb moved to Question.
? Governor Margolin seconded.
? Justin Wood stated they were voting to make the amendment the resolution.
? Governor Barth motioned to suspend the rules and vote. Vote was taken by show of hands.
? No debate occurred from the board.
? Governor Saunders moved to question
? Resolution passed.
? Vice-President Parsons thanked the Board and Maniacs.

VII. New Business
A.) Bureau of Finance Appropriation Proposal 2007-06:
Treasurer Jackson
? Pi Sigma Sigma Public Policy Honorary requested $500 to be used for marketing and promotion of the organization as well as funds to support year end annual picnic.
o Approved
? WVU Marketing Club requested $500 to assist in transportation costs of 35 members to attend a marketing event in Columbus, Ohio.
o Approved
? Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority requested $500 to assist in the purchase of food, supplies, and advertisements of their Annual Cultural Awareness Dinner on October 14th.
o Vote next week

B.) Resolution 2007-005 Freshman Advisory Board-Governor Perry, Vice-President Parsons
? Governor Perry yielded the floor to Matt Gutta who read the resolution.
? Another member of the group talked about their idea of putting Purell dispensers in entry way of dinning halls to cut down on contamination.
? Governor Perry talked about other ideas the group is working on.
? Governor Peters moved to vote on the formation of the new board.
? Governor Margolin seconded the motion.
? Temporary Interim Attorney General Woods stated there were some technical aspects that need to need to be worked out.
? Vice-President Parsons supported voting next week.
? Governor Peters withdrew her motion.

C.) Resolution 2007-006: Temporary Interim Attorney General, Attorney General Zak, President Kirkpatrick

D.) Sunnyside Up Presentation: Executive Director Jim Hunt
? Governor Rogers introduced Jim Hunt
? Hunt gave a brief history of the project, and talked about plans for the future.
? Thanked SGA for allowing him to come and talk.
? Governor Rogers talked about the need for student support to get the ball rolling.

? Matt Gutta addressed the article in the DA today.

? Off Campus Housing Director Brittany Fink would like to make it clear that it?s not just Sunnyside in need of better housing.

? Tommy Napier announced Students United for Human Rights will be meeting on Tuesdays at 8p.m. in the Mountain Lair.

? Governor Perry announced that students receive a discount on Monday after WVU wins, this week it will be on Thursday.
