The WVU Arts Alliance is an initiative started by Student Body President, Charlie Long, with the purpose of promoting the arts on campus and getting students more engaged with the arts.
The first Arts Alliance event was an Art Scavenger Hunt which tasked students with searching for art across the WVU campus, showing students that art truly is everywhere. Students who completed the hunt were entered into a drawing to win a free vinyl record from Barnes and Noble Bookstore. Congratulations to Dominic Scott for winning this years scavenger hunt!
The WVU Arts Alliance will officially launch in Spring 2025. The Arts Alliance will require dues which in turn will provide students with perks such as free merchandise, discounted tickets, VIP access to an artist, or a free meal. If you are interested in being part of the group, fill out the interest form. Also be on the lookout for application to serve on the WVU Arts Alliance Board.
