Collaborate with SGA to inspire change in your university community. Students are welcome and encouraged to get involved with the association in various ways. Alumni and faculty can also join SGA's efforts by reaching out to us to learn about engagement opportunities.

Elections

The West Virginia University Student Government Association adheres to the regulations outlined in the Elections Code, which governs all aspects of the association's elections. Amendments to election procedures within the Election Code are only effective after an election.

Learn about the application and selection process for our appointed positions under the executive and judicial branches.

Intern Program

Apply for the opportunity to intern with SGA and work closely with one of their members. The Intern Program develops student's leadership skills, networking experience, and so much more.

Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m during Fall and Spring semesters.
