The Internal Chief of Staff provides organizational leadership and strategic coordination within the West Virginia University Student Government Association (SGA). Acting as the primary manager of internal operations, they work closely with the President, Vice President, and executive team to align SGA initiatives with its mission and goals. The Chief of Staff coordinates executive priorities, monitors progress on projects, and ensures that initiatives remain on schedule and within scope.
In addition to their role as a key advisor, the Internal Chief of Staff facilitates communication among executive officers, committee chairs, and assembly members, streamlining workflows and resolving challenges that arise in day-to-day operations.
They oversee the preparation of internal reports, help structure agendas for administrative meetings, and ensure SGA leadership has the information necessary to make informed decisions.
Through their leadership, the Internal Chief of Staff strengthens the efficiency, professionalism, and accountability of the SGA, enabling the organization to better serve the student body and carry out its commitments.
