Executive Reports

  • Student Organizations Liaison Staten held and facilitated the Monthly President's Forum where they reviewed the grant process.
  • Chief of Staff Coiner coordinated with The Rack to hold the annual Share-A-Swipe event for December 7th and Hatfields and Cafe Evansdale.
  • Attorney General Long and Elections Chair Weller led the elections code revisions. These revisions can be reviewed on our website.
  • President Hernandez attended Board

Assembly Reports

  • The SGA Assembly passed seven pieces of legislation during the month of November.
  • HSC Senators met with Dr.Clay Marsh to discuss Health Sciences priorities.
  • Active Study Rooms are now open in the bottom floor of the Downtown Library.
  • The Sustainability Committee has spearheaded a composting pilot.
  • Senator Price and College Senator Azinger drafted a letter in support of the GPSS initiative to raise yearly stipends for graduate and professional student apprenticeships.
  • The Government Relations Committee published the Legislative Priorities Survey ahead of the 2023 state legislative session.
  • College Senator Dozier and Treasurer Daniel worked on creating a DEI tier grant for student organizations.
