Bio:

Anna is a College Senator for the College of Applied Human Sciences. She is a senior majoring in Multiple Disciplinary Studies, composed of three minors. Anna’s minors are Child Development and Family Studies, Special Education, and Sports Coaching. Anna is a varsity volleyball coach at Trinity Christian. Anna was also selected to participate in the PALs (Peer Advisors for Leadership) Program. After graduating, Anna plans to pursue a career in the field of education, with hopes to be an elementary school teacher here in Morgantown.

Goals:

After joining the Committee on Community Engagement, Anna plans to work with the local schools in Morgantown. She hopes help local students seeking information on scholarships to attend WVU.
Anna also wants to bring awareness to the importance of educational degree programs in higher education, especially within the state of West Virginia. This awareness included bringing attention to the necessity of education to university administrators. 
She also wants to hold more events to teach students about the importance of SGA and bring more recognition to its accomplishments. She would love to do tabling events at WVU and other community-based gatherings. Specifically, she would love to gain more activity from members of the College of Applied Human Sciences

Achievements:

While it is early into her term, Anna was able to sponsor a bill, voicing students concerns about the potential budgetary cuts. She was glad to see that the bill was unanimously approved by the assembly. She hopes to see more educationally targeted legislation pass.
