Brenna Leasor is a junior Psychology major from Morgantown, WV. She currently serves as the City Council Liaison for Student Government Association, the Volunteer Coordinator for the WVU Food Recovery Network, the Service Chair for the WVU Psychology Club, and as an intern for WVUp All Night. Brenna is an undergraduate research assistant in the IDEA lab and the BEACON lab. The IDEA lab studies emotional affect, perception, and regulation; and the BEACON lab studies behavioral interventions in children. In her free time, Brenna volunteers with Animal Friends of North-Central WV photographing adoptable pets. After completing her degree, she plans to pursue a graduate program in Human Factors Psychology.
Brenna is particularly interested in;
- Student food insecurity,
- Integrating food recovery policies into various university policies.
- Working with campus decision makers to allow the RACK (student food bank) to operate on a larger scale.
- Sexual health, and
- Community outreach.
