Bio:

Carter Leadmon is a sophomore Computer Science and Mathematics major here at WVU. He has always loved the state of West Virginia and, thus, its premier educational institution, WVU. Through his involvement in SGA, he hopes to serve his fellow students and give back to our community. In addition to his role as a senator, he serves as the chair of the Community Engagement Committee and the secretary of the SGA Bureau of Finance. Outside of his involvement in SGA, he is an Orientation Leader and a member of the Mountaineer Maniacs Executive Board. Throughout his time as a senator, he hopes to promote the voices and concerns of my peers and work for the betterment of the student experience at WVU.

Goals:

Carter wants to engage the student body in SGA so that they have a voice to administration and faculty. Additionally, he wishes to connect them to the resources that WVU offers that can enhance their experiences here at WVU.

Achievements:

Last year, Carter served as an intern for the Bureau of Finance. Through that experience, he was able to help student organizations get the funding they need to make positive impacts on our campus and represent WVU nationally. His service on the Bureau of Finance has been a great experience which he takes great pride in.
