The Internal Senates Liaison serves as a bridge between the Student Government Association and WVU’s shared governance structures, including the Faculty Senate and Staff Council. By attending meetings of these groups, the liaison ensures that student perspectives are represented in institutional discussions. They also collaborate with the Provost’s Office to evaluate the cost and use of third-party platforms on campus, advocating for the removal of those that create unnecessary financial burdens for students. Through these efforts, the Internal Senate Liaison strengthens collaboration between students, faculty, and staff, while promoting initiatives that reduce costs and improve the overall student experience.
