Attorney General

The Attorney General holds a crucial role within the Student Government Association (SGA), offering counsel on university matters upon request from students or SGA members.

Additionally, they serve as the Parliamentarian of the Student Assembly, ensuring adherence to procedural rules and facilitating orderly discussions and decision-making processes. Responsible for keeping the SGA Constitution up-to-date, the Attorney General promptly updates it within thirty days of any amendment, ensuring the association's governance remains current and effective. Furthermore, they provide regular updates on their activities by submitting monthly reports to the SGA President and Vice President, fostering transparency and accountability within the organization. The Attorney General's commitment is demonstrated through their consistent attendance at SGA meetings on a weekly basis. Lastly, they undertake any other duties as designated by the President and Vice President, contributing to the smooth operation and advancement of the SGA's objectives.
