The Health Committee is comprised of assembly members and the Health Coordinator, exuding a deep passion for the advocation of health and wellness on campus. The committee's main function is to promote overall wellness on campus, advocate for improved healthcare, and increase health awareness amongst students through legislative efforts. Additionally, the Health Committee works to improve overall access to health services and educate students on health across various domains, such as: physical health, mental health, sexual health, sexual assault prevention, and women's health.
Chloe Hernandez is a sophomore neuroscience and psychology major from Lorton, Virginia. She is heavily involved on campus; Chloe is a NASA Undergraduate Research Affiliate, the president of the Neuroscience Club and an OR volunteer at Ruby Memorial. This is her first year on SGA, joining under the Riggs-Bragg administration. Her future intentions include pursuing Medical School and joining the AirForce to serve as a flight surgeon. Outside her campus commitments, Chloe can be found painting, strumming tunes on her guitar or going on a hike in the wild and wonderful.
