Blake Humphrey

 Blake Humphrey is a former Member of the West Virginia University Student Government Association's Board of Governors. During his time in SGA, he served as an intern for Governor Dustin Seabolt, and he has worked to advance the cause of college and textbook affordability. On March 31, 2016, Blake's term on the Board of Governors ended. In April, 2016, Blake was appointed by Student Government President Julie Merow to serve as the Executive Officer for Policy Development. 

In addition, Blake is serving on the West Virginia University Open Education Committee. Mainly, Blake's work with textbook affordability revolves around Open Source Textbooks (OSTs) and Open Educational Resources (OERs). The committee has been tasked with developing strategic goals and objectives to help further sustain and build up open access initiatives at West Virginia University. Blake also consults with the West Virginia University Office of Finance and Administration on designing a personal financial education program for West Virginia University. This program, BlueToGold, is designed to help WVU students expand their knowledge of their personal finances and make decisions that optimize their financial well-being.

Outside of SGA, Blake is a guest columnist for the West Virginia State Journal, and writes about current events, policy and other important topics pertaining to West Virginia. Blake is also a contributing writer for OUTSET Magazine, a conservative, millennial political publication. In his free time,  Blake enjoys traveling, politics, golfing, spending time with family, and all things West Virginia. Blake is a Brother of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity at West Virginia University. He is currently the Vice President of the chapter.

Rachel Daw is a junior history major with political science minor from Belle, WV. Rachel has been involved in SGA since the beginning of her sophomore year, where she interned under the Director of Community Service. For the 2016-2017 school year, she was appointed Director of Student Organizations where she works with over 450+ student organizations. She also sits on the Bureau of Finance for SGA. Outside of SGA, Rachel is in the Honors College and works in the WVU Office of Admissions. In her free time, Rachel enjoys traveling, spending time with her friends and family, and going to all the WVU sporting events!

 Jordin is a junior intercollegiate biochemistry major from Buckhannon, WV.  She has been involved in SGA since her sophomore year, where she served on the Communications Team. For the 2016-2017 school year she was appointed to the Executive Director of Democratic Legislative Affairs, where she works to help students advocate effectively with their elected officials.  She works with her Republican counterpart to help plan the West Virginia University Day at the Legislature during the spring semester.  Outside of SGA, Jordin is a sister of Alpha Omega Epsilon, where she is the Greek Relations Chair. She is also a member of Order of Omega, the Greek Honorary.  She works as a Student Ambassador for the Office of Admissions, and is also the Biochemistry Ambassador for the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design.  In her free time, Jordin enjoys going to Mountaineer sporting events and spending time with her family, friends, and cat Izzy.

Natalie Malloy is a junior political science major from Pittsburgh, PA. She has been involved in SGA since fall 2015. She got her start in the organization as an intern for Ryan Payan, Director of Diversity, a position she held for two semesters. Continuing her involvement with the organization, Natalie was then appointed as Deputy Director of the Intern Program. She is also involved with the WVU Thirst Project, of which she is the secretary. In her free time, Natalie enjoys hiking and traveling around the state.

My Name is Demetry Walker and I am a Sophomore currently pursuing a degree in Business and I am your Deputy Director of Transportation and Parking. I am from Morgantown (Go Hawks) and I love being a Mountaineer! My position entails making sure students and the Department of Transportation & Parking have a clear and concise way of communication.
